Entertainment lighting equipment employs a control system known as DMX512. DMXCalc is a sophisticated and practical calculator designed to perform address arithmetic for DMX equipment.

Facilitates calculation of absolute address by inputting a DMX universe number and a device address, or alternatively view universe and device address by entering an absolute address.
The + and - buttons can be configured to adjust the address incrementally by any chosen block size, proving beneficial for addressing a succession of moving lights. Notifies with a red display when the current universe lacks capacity for an additional fixture.
Offers feature-rich dip switch functionality, displaying settings for the current address value. Alternatively, manually set switches to mirror those on a light to reveal its address. The sound option audibly plays dipswitch settings for convenient configuration without visual aid.
The Block page conveniently loads a selection of blocks based on block size, starting at the current address. Clicking on any block instantly populates the calculator and dip switches with the chosen address. Moreover, the arrow icon reveals a comprehensive list of all locations within the block, displaying both local and absolute addresses. This functionality is particularly advantageous for addressing moving lights, dimmer packs, or LED fixtures in series.
Includes a reference page listing all DMX level values between 0 to 255 along with corresponding percentage, hexadecimal, and MIDI values.
